Our
Story

“There was not a turbine-powered aircraft on the field when we came to the North Little Rock Airport in 2000.

We are now one of the largest corporate aircraft management companies in Arkansas.”

North Little Rock Jet Center was founded by Thomas Murchison in 2000 and has grown from a charter service to a full-service FBO and aircraft management company.

Tommy grew up on a farm and became interested in aviation at a young age, as he was around the local crop dusters continuously. After getting his pilot's license first as a hobby, he eventually obtained a Part 135 Charter Certificate and needed a home base for Charter Services.

We operated a successful Charter Service from 2000 to 2010. At this time we decided to transition into a management company for corporate aircraft owners, as well as a full-service FBO and aircraft sales company.

Now, the North Little Rock Jet Center offers an all new state-of-the-art facility, which includes over 52,000 square feet of hangar space and a 6,500 square foot FBO facility. No matter how much we grow, however, we stay dedicated to our customers having a very personalized experience with our staff. We strive to offer the kind of friendly boutique experience that’s becoming harder to find in aviation, and everyone from our line service technicians to our pilots and office staff is dedicated to making every customer feel right at home.

Our People

Thomas "Tommy" Murchison

Owner

Tommy's interest in aviation started at the farm he grew up on, where he was surrounded by the local crop dusters from a young age. He began the North Little Rock Jet Center as a charter service and later transitioned it into a full-service FBO and aircraft management company to better serve the region's aviation community. When Tommy's not at the airport, he enjoys sports, spending time at the lake, hunting, and most anything outdoors.

Debbie Cates

Office Manager

Debbie has been with the North Little Rock Jet Center since its inception in 2000. As office manager, she keeps the books for the FBO as well as dozens of managed aircraft. Before teaming up with Tommy, she had years of experience managing finances in both the private and public sectors.
